Federal Skilled Worker
This program is for those people who want to settle in Canada permanently and are eligible to apply under one of the eligible job titles mentioned in the National Occupation List ( NOC). To be eligible to apply under this category, the minimum pass mark to attain 67 points is based on various selection factors such as age, education, work experience, language skills and adaptability.

Experience:
The candidate must have at least one year of continuous full-time ( 30 hours per week or 1560 hrs) paid under skill type 0, Skill level A or Skill level B within the last 10 years.
Alternatively, part-time experience ( 15 hours per week ) for 24 months will also be accepted. You can work in more than one place to make it a total of 1560 hours.
Language:
The applicant must take an approved language test either in English or French to prove their language ability in all the four areas: Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking and score a minimum of Canadian Language Benchmark ( CLB 7 ) in all the four abilities. The test results must not be more than 2 years old and must be valid on the date of your permanent residency application.
Education:
If the education is completed in Canada, the applicant must have a certificate, diploma or degree from a Canadian secondary or post-secondary institution.
In the case of foreign education, all the credentials must go through Educational Credential Assessment ( ECA ) from a designated organization to prove that foreign education is equivalent to a Canadian certificate, diploma or degree.
