Provincial Nomination Program
If you are planning to immigrate to Canada to one of your favourite provinces, a provincial nomination program can nominate you based on your skills. Canada has a total of 10 provinces and 03 territories in total and each province has their own streams and requirements. Based on the province requirements they chose respective applicants and nominate them.
Who can apply for PNP :
- individuals who intend to live in the province
- have required skill set, academic competence or people with an innovative business plan that can generate employment and boost the provincial economy.
- Who wants to settle down in one of the provinces or territories as a permanent resident.
Currently, the below provinces have their nomination programs :
- Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program ( AINP )
- British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program
- Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program ( MPNP )
- New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program
- Nova Scotia Nominee Program ( NSNP )
- Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program
- Prince Edward Island Provincial Program
- Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program ( SINP )
- Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program ( OINP )
Depending on the province you apply to and the PNP stream you choose, it can be done either through the express entry process or paper-based.
